DotBlank Missions & Refund Policy
DotBlank Missions are optional creator support payments inside the DotBlank app.
Plain-language summary
- A Mission is a voluntary tip or support payment sent to a Creator on DotBlank.

What DotBlank is
DotBlank is a social video platform where members create collaborative video episodes, share content, and interact with Creators and other members in the app.
Some DotBlank features allow members to support Creators through optional paid messages called Missions.
What Missions are
A Mission is an optional paid prompt, message, or tip sent to a Creator to support that Creator and request their attention inside DotBlank.
Missions are similar to creator tips or fan support. They are not a financial product and are not a way for users to send money to friends, repay debts, transfer cash, exchange stored value, or move money for personal payments.
What the sender receives
When a member sends a Mission, the member receives the ability to submit that Mission to the Creator through DotBlank and support the Creator through the app.
The Creator may see the Mission and may choose to reply, react, or take no action. DotBlank does not guarantee that a Creator will respond, respond within any specific time, accept a request, create content, perform a service, or provide any specific outcome.
Creator replies are optional
Creator participation is voluntary. A Creator can choose whether to reply to a Mission. A Mission payment is not conditional on receiving a reply.
Missions must not be used for regulated advice or services, adult services, gambling, illegal goods or services, peer-to-peer payments, lending, repayment, or any other prohibited activity under DotBlank policies, payment processor rules, or applicable law.
Refund policy
All Mission payments are final once sent and processed. DotBlank does not provide refunds because a Creator did not reply, replied late, declined to participate, or provided a reply that the sender did not like.
DotBlank may, in its sole discretion or where required by law, issue a refund for issues such as duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, technical payment errors, fraud, abuse, or policy violations.
If a Mission is cancelled, reversed, refunded, or found to violate our rules, DotBlank may remove the Mission, restrict account access, adjust Creator earnings, or take other action allowed by our Terms of Service.
Payments and Creator payouts
DotBlank uses third-party payment processors, including Stripe, to process Mission payments. Payment processing, chargebacks, risk reviews, and compliance checks may affect whether a payment or payout is accepted, delayed, held, refunded, or denied.
Creators may receive a portion of eligible Mission proceeds after applicable platform fees, processor fees, refunds, chargebacks, taxes, compliance reviews, and other permitted adjustments.
Prohibited use
Missions are only for creator support inside DotBlank. They must not be used to facilitate any restricted, regulated, illegal, or deceptive activity.
- No peer-to-peer money movement or personal cash transfers.
- No loans, repayments, investments, stored value, gambling, sweepstakes, or financial returns.
- No adult services, illegal services, regulated goods, counterfeit goods, drugs, weapons, or harmful conduct.
- No attempts to evade payment processor rules, fraud controls, sanctions, compliance checks, or DotBlank policies.
